Become a Silver Wishes Granter
Our residents’ wishes are being granted almost entirely through public support and already we have been able to deliver some incredible experiences thanks to people donating time, gifts and money to our campaign. If you would like to help us then there are three options for getting involved.
If you have seen a wish you would like to help fulfil, please click the link below to tell us how! You may be available to give your time to support us with a wish or provide the materials, venue or equipment we need. We don’t ask anyone to do everything for a wish by themselves (though you are of course welcome to if you can) but if you can contribute to a wish then please let us know how. Please note: you will need the unique ID of the wish you are looking to fill to complete the form. Alternatively, you can click ‘Help’ on the wish you would like to fulfil on the Wishes page.
Our supporters are people who are happy to help out on any wish at all that they can contribute to. For example, a supporter may be able to arrange for seating at a theatre for any resident wishing to see a play. When registering, you can specify types of wishes or locations which suit you and leave us a message detailing exactly what you’re able to contribute. Any offer of support is greatly appreciated, so even if it doesn’t seem like much please do get in touch!
It may be that you prefer to make a monetary donation to our campaign, helping us to pay for the experiences that our volunteers are unable to provide. With that in mind, we’ve set up a Just Giving Crowdfunding page which you can donate through. If you would like your donation to go towards a specific resident’s wish, then please leave a comment with your donation on the Just Giving page with the unique ID of the wish you are donating for. Any donations made with no ID, or for a wish that has already been fulfilled will go into the general fund for all wishes. If you are donating towards a wish that has already been fulfilled, then we will put your toward future wishes.
